This project is a social response targeted at senior citizens, aiming to keep people integrated in their local community in an active way, guarabteeing individual and personalized care in accordance with the biopsychological needs aof the senior citizen.

To promote Diversity of stimulation and context enabling moments of satisfaction, peer and intergeneration interaction.
Activities
Artistic: dancing, plastic arts, music
Crafts: gardening, dress making
Recreational: table/board games, books, magazines
Therapeutical activities
This project aims to offer a service aligned wih an holistic view of the person and the environment, by means of activities which are substantial and relevant to the clients, in order to provide opportunities that focus on functionality, autonomy and independence, promoting selcare and self-esteem.
With this in mind, the programmed activities focus on three action vectors: cognitive development, physical well-being and interaction.

My relative is not from Carcavelos, can he participate in the project?
In the event that the person does not have residence in the geographical area of Carcavelos, he / she may apply, but he / she will have a lower priority of admission vis-à-vis persons with residence in Carcavelos.
What is included in the monthly contribution?
In the amount of the monthly contribution are included all the activities of the weekly plan, lunch and snacks.
How is monthly contribution calculated?
The monthly contribution is calculated using a Social Security calculation formula, based on the income and expenses of the household members, and can be accessed in the Internal Regulations.
How does the transport of users work?
Transportation is an extra service, with a monthly amount fixed each year and described in the Internal Regulations. It takes place in the morning between 9:00 and 10:00 and in the afternoon between 17:00 and 18:00. You have limited vacancies.

What do people do during the day?
There is a weekly plan with all the activities that take place each day. In the morning activities start at 10:00 a.m. until 12:00. Then lunch time until 2:00 p.m. In the afternoon the activities are from 2 pm to 4 pm followed by a snack to finish the day.
Is it possible to have Home Care and participate in this project?
We can reconcile the two services. When booking the service, this need must be mentioned.
